BILLBOARDS

Billboards are the least understood of all marketing. We design with the idea that a billboard should be comprehended in as short a time as possible, and still readable in sub-optimal light and weather. Instantaneous recognition if possible.

Field test

Billboards are often seen across farm fields, at high speed, and with either the sun in your eyes or a glare coming off the picture. This unretouched photo shows a real life billboard situation.

Make sure your billboards EASILY show the logo of your company and have art that can still be seen in all situations. Note the difference between the left, unreadable billboard and the right, IMD-designed billboard.

Tie-ins with local events and culture can advance your brand if done correctly. In Indiana, basketball is big. Running this billboard during March is a great idea.
